Ralph began his dental career in 1966 while in the US Army. In 1969, he began a four-year apprenticeship with Brown Dental Laboratory, and became a CDT in 1974. In 1981, Ralph founded Precision Dental Designs. Years later, Ralph and his wife Terry purchased Brown Dental Lab along with four other laboratories and acquired experienced and knowledgeable technicians.
Ralph has always kept up with new techniques, products and services. He has attended numerous continuing education classes such as Pete Dawson 1, 2 and 3, Pankey Institute, Jack Turbyfill, and many more. Each year, Ralph and PDD’s key technicians attend several hours of education. A believer in doing the best work possible, Ralph has always encouraged his team members to seek out additional training to improve the quality and consistency of their work.
In his free time, Ralph enjoys spending time with his family and playing golf. He is also an active member in his church and the local community.
Lindsey has literally grown up in the laboratory. As a young child, she would help clean the lab and play with the wax and plaster. She began to take an interest in the work her parents did and knew at a young age that she wanted to be involved in the dental industry when she grew up. She started her career at 16 when she began assisting the lab’s technicians. She worked on models, waxed crowns and bridges, and also learned how to scan in the CAD/CAM department.
In college, Lindsey enrolled in Dental Assisting and graduated as a CDA and RDA in 2002. Shortly after graduating, she returned to the lab of her youth, so she could work alongside her mom and dad. Lindsey is still very passionate about dentistry and often takes as many as 60 hours of CE credits each year.
Currently, she manages several CE courses for Precision’s doctors and is involved in office management, marketing, and research focused on the latest dental tools and technology.
